This 1-day HPLC troubleshooting course is aimed at analysts who have been performing HPLC analysis for approximately 3 to 6 months, and wish to develop competence with troubleshooting. The training course is delivered at your company’s site by the MTS trainer and will involve practical exercises on your HPLC instruments. A pre-training visit may be arranged during which the MTS trainer will discuss the content of the training course with you to ensure that the HPLC training is fully tailored to your needs. Every attendee on a MTS course is asked to fill in a brief survey on their previous experience and training expectations to ensure that the training is optimised for their learning needs.
The standard cost for this HPLC training course, charged per person, is GBP £400 + VAT, but significant discounts may be applied depending on the number of learners in the group being trained.
HPLC is a very important technique for the pharmaceutical industry. Effective use of the technique requires a skilled analyst who can deal with problems which may occur during day-to-day operation. In a busy laboratory any downtime on the HPLC instrumentation can seriously impact on productivity.
This HPLC training course is split into 2 parts. The first part of the course looks at each component of a HPLC method and system in turn, identifying the causes of potential problems. The second part provides a problem solving strategy which can be used for troubleshooting. Typical problems are split into a series of categories to assist in diagnosis and quick resolution. Attendees are encouraged to bring along examples of problems they have encountered for discussion during the training. Refer to the full course description for details of the agenda on the day of the training.
After taking this course the learner will be able to:
Understand how problems can arise in the individual components of HPLC instrumentation.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Use a problem-solving approach to HPLC troubleshooting.
Diagnose common problems associated with HPLC.
