The web-based training courses provided by MTS are delivered as live training sessions where the trainer and the learner communicate using the internet. This type of training is ideal for individuals who benefit from having a personal tutor and may also be used for small groups who work in different geographical locations. Web-based training courses are available for any geographical location provided the internet connection is viable.
Training courses are broken up into ‘bite-size’ sessions. This has the benefit of making the knowledge gained easier to retain and apply between sessions and also delivering training in this way spreads out the time away from work, minimising disruption in the workplace. The schedule for the delivery of these sessions is based on the learner’s requirements. Every attendee on a MTS course is asked to fill in a brief survey on their previous experience and training expectations to ensure that the training is optimised for their learning needs.
MTS courses are delivered in such a way so as to promote a relaxed and friendly learning environment. Training is delivered to small groups. Discussion, question and answer sessions, exercises and the use of case studies are all utilised to ensure learners are engaged and involved.
Attendees on all MTS courses are encouraged to bring along examples of problems, challenges etc. which may be relevant for discussion during the training. Consideration of real examples which have relevance to the learners will aid understanding and retention of information.
All training courses are supported by our virtual environment for learning, e-MTS, which contains all the training materials relevant to the course. e-MTS is accessible both during the training and for 6 months after the completion of the training.
MTS can also deliver training courses at your site. Additionally, we offer a range of training products including online, pre-prepared training courses for in-house use and training books on topics relating to chemical analysis of pharmaceuticals.

A broadband connection to the internet is needed for web-based training courses (access to a telephone line may also be required). There are 8 sessions in total for all the available training courses. These sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes. The timing for the delivery of the sessions is arranged to suit the learner. For example, a popular choice is to deliver two sessions in a day over a total period of four days. MTS will make every effort to fit in with the schedule that suits you.
